Newsweek is actively recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to join our Digital/Programmatic Advertising Sales team. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by effectively managing and expanding our client base within the digital and programmatic advertising industry. This includes large agency holding companies, independent agencies and clients directly. Your role will be pivotal in developing strategies, building strong relationships, and driving successful sales initiatives. In this role you will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.
Job Requirements:

• 7 years' experience in digital advertising sales
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in digital and/or programmatic advertising sales.
• Results-driven, resilient, self-motivated, excels in fast-paced, fiercely competitive industries.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other productivity tools for sales management.
• A deep roster of relationships with senior brand marketers and the leadership, investment, strategy, planning and programmatic teams at the major agency holding companies as well as independents.
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong relationship builder and influencer - Someone who is ambitious, hungry and target driven
• Experience selling into, and deep-level knowledge of programmatic advertising market
• Proven track record of closing large deals ($300k ) and executing large scale programmatic and direct sponsorship partnerships
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presenting skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at cultivating and nurturing long-lasting client partnerships in New York required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Our corporate headquarters is located in New York City. The successful candidate must be able to work in the office at least 2 days a week and can work from home on the remaining days
Salary Range- $150,000 base plus competitive commission structure.
