Here's what an Assistant Teacher's day looks like:

• Ensure each student's health and safety at all times through close supervision and adherence to our daily protocols
• Speak with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
• Assist in implementing our unique and original curriculum
• Maintain the highest level of customer service possible in accordance with the NY Kids Club pillars of service
• Have a high level of enthusiasm and professionalism, and a desire to bring joy to learning
• Work with Lead Preschool Teacher to assess student abilities and progress

Requirements
This job is for you if you:

• Have a High School Diploma or GED- required
• Have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred (Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Special Education highly recommended) or are in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree
• Have 1 year of teaching experience (ideally in a preschool classroom)
• Are a self-starter, highly motivated, dynamic, and a creative team player
• Have excellent communication skills
• Are a lifelong learner!

The pay rate for this role is $36,000 per year
