SOUTH CONGRESS HOTEL is hiring for a BARBACK
The living room for the neighborhood, South Congress Hotel is an 83-room boutique hotel designed to be a hub of activity for the community. A place for travelers and locals alike, the hotel has three restaurants, a coffee bakeshop, a rooftop pool, an award-winning Lobby Bar, and two retail spaces, in addition to a range of community events programming open to all. All locally owned, all right at the doorstep of Austin's favorite street.

JOB OVERVIEW
Barbacks are a key support position to maintain an efficient and appealing bar atmosphere. Bar service at New Waterloo is about combining great hospitality, technical skills, and warm personalities to create an upbeat, inviting bar environment. You must be constantly moving with a sense of urgency and fluidity to keep all bartenders stocked and supported. The person having this position must possess good communication skills, and have a thorough understanding of company policies and federal laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year of previous barback experience preferred 
• Wednesday- Saturday availability required
