QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum two years’ experience in accounting, excellent written & communication skills, working knowledge of computerized accounting software, spreadsheets & word processing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contact school districts, granting agencies and parents regarding past due accounts.
• Research billing discrepancies.
• Prepare journal vouchers for all adjustments with proper supporting documentation.
• Prepare deposits for all checks and cash payments received.
• Process credit card payments.
• Process co-pays for UCLA patients.
• Research & provide the customer ID, invoice number and GL code for each payment.
• Prepare A/R collections reports on a weekly basis for all overdue invoices. 

• Prepare monthly account analysis, budgets & invoices 
• Prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis 
• Prepare journal entries, credit memos or adjustments on a monthly basis
• Generate and review monthly accounts payable aging and prepare credit memos or adjustments
• Coordinate and interact with Program Directors regarding miscellaneous and employee receivable
• Facilitate coding of Accounts Payable invoices and set new vendor information as needed
• Research and address all inquiries regarding vendors and accounts payable
• Assist with general ledger account analysis as required
• Assist with the preparation of compliance and cost reports
• Prepare audit schedules as assigned

Salary : $26.00 - $28.00 Hourly Rate
