Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with other clerical duties . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping using QuickBooks and possessing excellent analytical, organizational and task prioritization skills.
Job can be 20% remote after training period.
Duties:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Assist in the development of financial budgets and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow
- Manage accounts payable processes
- Utilize accounting software, such as Sage, to record and track financial transactions
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping / accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with construction accounting and job lifecycle
- Proficiency in accrual accounting and general ledger accounting
- Familiarity with financial concepts, such as cash flow analysis and financial management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks and Excel
