Nevada Behavioral Health (NBH) is growing and we need a detail oriented person to assist on with some of our claims data!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update contracts and rates in both database and binders.
• Prepare and comply with monthly reports required by Insurance Companies and verify completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain or modify all existing financial analytic models.
• Enter data into billing and accounting software for use in analyses and reports.
• Compile reports, charts, or graphs that describe and interpret the findings of analyses.
• Gather data from different sources and populate existing models.
• Provide application support to billing, accounting, compliance, and other departments as needed, especially for urgent analytical projects.
• Maintain database daily used for reporting.
• Review, evaluate, and investigate claims data carefully and thoroughly, comparing them with contracts, and prepare dispute reports monthly.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Advance excel skills
• Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
• Ability to follow procedures

Preferred but not Required:

• Basic knowledge of medical and behavioral codes, medical claims, claims processes, and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
