Summary:

The Vendor Master Data Specialist is responsible for supporting the organization in assisting with the identification of vendors based on organization need, vetting of potential vendors, execution of the vendor onboarding process, analyzing the current vendor base and maintaining the vendor master database. Responsibilities include onboarding vendors, vendor ACH compliance, and completing vendor credit applications.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that vendors are properly vetted and onboarded from a system, performance, and process perspective.
• Works with external departments, vendors, and foreign partners to resolve issues and ensure timely processing of payments.
• Manage the full vendor onboarding cycle with the help of management including phone call confirmations for ACH or wire payments.
• Ensure proper vendor set up protocols are utilized and the necessary legal documents from vendors during onboarding are being saved/stored within ERP System.
• Identify risks, issues where relevant during vendor compliance changes and/or newly generated vendors.
• Assist Accounts Payable Specialists as needed with responsibilities to ensure adequate coverage and support for our internal and external customers.
• Assist in various AP projects as needed.
