Job Description

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining various types of data into organizational databases or systems. This role ensures the integrity and completeness of data records and supports the smooth functioning of data management processes.

Job Responsibilities and Duties (not limited too):

• Entering and verifying data from source documents into the designated database or system.
• Performing data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of entered information.
• Maintaining data entry procedures and standards to facilitate efficient and error-free data processing.
• Organizing and filing physical or electronic source documents for easy retrieval and reference.
• Resolving any data entry errors or discrepancies by collaborating with relevant teams or individuals.
• Assisting in data cleanup and data validation activities to improve data accuracy and reliability.
• Generating routine reports or data summaries as requested by supervisors or team members.
• Following data security and confidentiality protocols to protect sensitive information.
• Participating in training sessions to enhance data entry skills and stay updated on relevant software or tools.
• Entering and verifying data accurately
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• 1 year of data entry experience required
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity.
• Proficiency in using data entry software or tools, such as Microsoft Excel or data management systems.
• Basic knowledge of data entry procedures and standards.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with data security and confidentiality principles.
