Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting and be proficient in various financial software systems. Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies - Manage vendor inquiries and maintain good vendor relationships - Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy - Assist with payroll management tasks as needed - Analyze and reconcile accounts, including debits and credits - Ensure compliance with SOX and company policies - Collaborate with the Human Resources department on various projects - Utilize PeopleSoft, Ceridian, and other financial systems effectively Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred - Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Familiarity with analyzing financial data and generating reports Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience with Ceridian software - Knowledge of payroll management processes - Understanding of SOX compliance requirements Join our team as an Accounts Payable Specialist and contribute to our finance department's success.
