- Bachelor’s degree in human services related field (for example, Social Work, Education, Psychology, Sociology)
- Six months of full-time experience working with persons with mental illness, substance abuse disorder, or intellectual or developmental disabilities (fieldwork and/or internship experience can apply)
- Strong organizational skills, with experience in person-centered planning
- Demonstrated understanding of persons with severe mental illness and substance use disorders
- Demonstrated communications skills that effectively convey information
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
- Demonstrated active listening, i.e. listening to what other people say and asking appropriate questions Demonstrated time management skills
- Licensed BSW
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued Knowledge of trauma-informed theories, principles, and practices (includes multi-faceted understanding of concepts such as community trauma, intergenerational and historical trauma, parallel processes, and universal precautions)
