About the Opportunity:
NetDocuments are searching for a curious, data driven, and financially-minded individual for the Financial Analyst role, reporting directly to the Sr. Director of FP&A. The person in role will have significant exposure to the Finance leadership and other senior leaders of NetDocuments as well. This is a highly visible, high impact role in a quickly growing and dynamic business, which can lead to further career opportunities at NetDocuments or at other Warburg Pincus or Cove Hill portfolio companies.
The Financial Analyst will be a critical member of NetDocuments’ Finance team, driving the Finance organization day to day and providing insight and analysis to inform decision making and support the growth in our business. In this role, the Financial Analyst will drive consolidated financial planning, business modeling, and KPI metric continuity for the General and Administrative (G&A) department. This individual will be responsible for short and long-term expense and operational forecasts that guide decision making. He/she will work to ensure the highest standards of quality and transparency in our processes and reporting, and proactively implement best practices to minimize risk. The applicant should be a self-starter, have strong problem solving and analytical skills, a collaborative style, and the ability to communicate effectively with executive business partners.
What your contributions will be:
  • Act as the trusted business advisor to multiple G&A leaders to communicate expense forecasts and inputs during the monthly, quarterly, and annual budget and forecasting processes
  • Work in partnership with the accounting team to consolidate financial results and metrics in support of the close processes, including data analysis and interpretation to understand and explain key drivers of results
  • Analyze and present monthly G&A financial results to the broader Finance organization
  • Gather and organize data from multiple sources to provide inputs into various financial and operating models
  • Provide additional ad hoc support to finance and business leaders as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
Example Projects:
  • Partner with HR organization to develop reporting of employee hiring and termination trends
  • Assist with updating weekly cash forecasts
  • Manage projects with stakeholders to make data-driven decisions on topics including:
    • Forecasting
    • Profitability
    • General process improvement

What you need for success:
  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics
  • 2-4 years of prior Financial Analyst experience
  • Experience at SaaS company preferred, preferably in a global, public or private equity environment
  • Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, general financial reporting, and an understanding of management accounting
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Technology – Experience working with an ERP, budgeting tools, CRM, and BI tools required.Salesforce, NetSuite, Adaptive Insights and/or PowerBI experience preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism
