Recruiting and onboarding for all open positions
Monitoring employee eligibility for benefits plans. Reviewing benefits with employees and processes enrollment, changes, and cancelations. Organizing and managing annual open enrollment communications and election process
Administering various human resources plans and procedures for all personnel; assisting in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; assisting with preparation and maintenance of the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual
Maintaining all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies
Assisting with employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviews
Maintaining and processing all unemployment notices and potential charges in a timely and efficient manner. Attending unemployment hearings when necessary
Maintaining employee personnel files
Ensuring compliance and periodically auditing I-9 forms
Reporting, maintaining, and monitors all FMLA and workers compensation case files; following-up on open cases
Maintaining human resource information system records and compiling reports from the database
Maintaining strict confidentiality of all employee records and personnel information
Maintaining compliance with state, federal, and local employment laws and regulations. As well as maintain compliance with Joint Commission requirements for the HR Department
Performing other duties as assigned
