Customer Service Representative

Position Overview

Seeking a team member to handle sample receipt of all incoming samples to the laboratory. Duties will include greeting customers, answering telephone inquiries, handling the continuous in flow of samples to the laboratory, documenting supplies, computer log in and other duties as necessary.

Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and chat
- Assist customers with inquiries, complaints, and product/service information
- Maintain customer records by updating account information
- Resolve customer issues promptly and escalate complex cases to the appropriate department
- Perform data entry tasks to update customer profiles and order details
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or resolve issues

Physical Demands:

- This position involves 40 plus hours per week on your feet for most of the day while in constant face to face contact with customers, and continuously documenting receipt of incoming samples before delivering them to the appropriate areas of the lab.

Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Proficient in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult customers with professionalism
- Ability to work on your feet most of the day in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
