Job Purpose: The assistant for the OST/South Union Health Improvement Partnership (OHIP) will work closely with and report to the Community Health Improvement Liaison. The Program Assistant will support in full-range program development, maintain communication with all program partners, and provide administrative tasks as necessary. May act as the coordinator of a program operation or process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serves as a liaison between the program, organizations, and residents; determines the nature of business and provides appropriate information and assistance.
• Conducts community-based research using a variety of resources to generate reports and respond to requests.
• Prepares correspondence, forms, presentations, and other documents.
• Retrieves, screens, opens, incoming program related email. Prepares for delivery and sends outgoing documents and other materials.
• Performs a variety of duties for program or staff such as scheduling appointments, recording meeting minutes, etc.
• Coordinates one or more program operations or processes in support of the overall operation the organization.
• Creates and maintains a high-performance environment characterized by positive leadership and a strong team orientation.
• Attends collaboratives, conferences, job-related training, and other staff development training programs. Serves on committees and task forces as required.
• Creates and maintains email marketing database. Responsible for program’s email marketing
• Creates and maintains social media presence

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or equivalent experience
• Committed, driven, quick learner
• 2 yrs. experience Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - fluent
• Background in social work or public health
• Social Media experience (creating, posting)

This position works from home and requires work and presence in the community being served. (Hybrid)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
