Job Title – Operations Manager, International 

Department – International 

Reports to – Director, US & International Operations

Location – Houston, TX

Job Summary

Support, develop, and improve all NCS policies and procedures to execute operations effectively and safely in the U.S. and internationally. Provide international continual training and reinforcement for all operations personnel. Track and forecast operations revenue, operating expenditures, and inventory control. Establish and Support NCS HS&E and QC procedures while working to meet all customer and regulatory agency requirements.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Monthly revenue forecasting and tracking with weekly updates to management
• Mentor and train operations managers and personnel to develop them in accordance with the Promise and senior management team’s vision for growth 
• Review operating expenditures and provide approval, to include inventory orders
• Oversee operations coordination of goods and personnel 
• Perform quarterly facility audits on inventory, HS&E, and QC Process 
• Review checks and balance of field invoicing and ticketing, issue credit request and approval in a timely manner, and monthly bin reconciliation
• Manage weekly and daily operations reporting 
• Communicate with Sales, Tech Services, and Field Services daily to ensure operational success
• Disseminate technical updates and product line changes to all operations 
• Improve operational efficiencies in districts and the field
• Support and uphold HS&E policies and procedures of NCS and the customer
• Align individual goals with NCS’ corporate goals, while adhering to the NCS Promise
• Conduct, participate in and promote Personal Development for Success (PDS), for both self and direct reports, ensuring effectiveness of program 
• Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

• Comprehensive oilfield experience required; including drilling and completions operations, fracturing and down hole tool operations 
• Bachelors in Business or five years Operations Management experience
• Operations experience with understanding of regulatory requirements and standards (i.e. Taxation, SOX, Import export compliance, OSHA Standards, ISO9001 and or API Q2)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe 
• Ability to communicate effectively with field service personnel, client representatives, and NCS employees and management
• Ability to recognize problems, identify root causes and resolve routine problems; ability to engineer controls for preventive issues
• Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress 
• Technical working knowledge of NCS HSE program, products, and procedures

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, and may vary dependent on business needs
• Travel: 60%, domestic and international travel required
