NATECH is recruiting an Application and Software developer to support the FAA National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) program. This is an exciting opportunity for talented individuals to contribute to the transformation of the Nation’s aviation system in which air traffic will move safely, swiftly, efficiently, and seamlessly around the globe.
Seeking a talented and experienced Software and Application Developer to join our Configuration Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for software systems development, including software design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging for software enhancements, new software-intensive systems, and products. Additionally, the candidate will be required to analyze software requirements and develop software tools for infrastructure and platform development and maintenance, refactor/redesign legacy applications, and develop new applications for use in the FAA Cloud Services (FCS).
Responsibilities:
Designs and develops methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured, diverse sources including “big data” sources. Ability to create automated solutions to review text and survey responses which search for trends or consistencies amongst the survey responses which could be culled from the survey data to provide actionable responses and find opportunities to improve the customer’s infrastructure construction execution activities in future projects. Develops and uses advanced software programs, algorithms, querying and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate datasets and models complex business problems. Is familiar with disciplines such as Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Predictive modeling, Statistical Analysis and Hypothesis testing. Works with cross-discipline teams in order to ensure connectivity between various databases and systems. Identifies meaningful insights and interprets and communicates findings and recommendations. May develop information tools, algorithms, dashboards, and queries to monitor and improve business performance. Maintains awareness of emerging analytics and big-data technologies.
