Here's what you'll do:

• Craft the perfect network: Design configurations, oversee installations, and define clear standards to create a rock-solid foundation for all IT operations.
• Network ninja: Tackle all aspects of networking, from routing and switching to firewalls and LAN/WANs. Ensure optimal performance and keep data flowing flawlessly.
• Problem-solving power: Collaborate with the IT team to diagnose and resolve network issues quickly and efficiently. Be the hero that saves the day (and the data)!
• Consultative champion: Work with users, vendors, and the network team to optimize hardware and network setups for maximum productivity and performance.
• Innovation driver: Spearhead new system implementations, train users, and test applications. Research new technologies and recommend strategies to improve infrastructure services.
• Documentation guru: Develop clear procedures and documentation for the operations team, keeping everyone on the same page and ensuring smooth network maintenance.
• Mentor and leader: Share your knowledge and expertise with junior team members, helping them grow and develop their skills.
• Team player extraordinaire: Partner with business units to ensure optimal performance of all IT infrastructure. Be the glue that holds everything together!

What we're looking for:

• A sharp mind with a BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience and certifications). A and Security are a plus, and MCSA, MCP, MCSE, or VCP will make you shine even brighter.
• At least 5 years of experience flexing your network skills in a real-world setting.
• You speak the language of LAN/WAN, network monitoring tools, security configs, protocols, and telecom standards fluently.
• You're a VMware and Windows Server whisperer, able to tame these beasts and make them sing.
• Leadership experience is a bonus, but a passion for training and problem-solving is a must.
• You communicate like a champ, both in writing, speaking, and presentations.
• A 'team first' attitude is your default setting.
