Summary of Position:

As a Pharmacy Tech with Nationwide Pharmacy, your main responsibility will be to process and fill prescriptions. Other responsibilities include greeting customers and answering questions, resolving issues when they arise, medication labeling, inventory management, and other tasks as assigned by the Pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly. This will be a non-laboratory certified pharmacy technician, so there will not be compounding duties.

• Ensure all packages are prepared for pickup promptly. 
• Maintain inventory and organization of warehouse and shipping supplies. 
• Help answer phones and assist customers in a friendly manner as needed. 
• Support pharmacy technicians with additional activities as needed. 
• Operate the pharmacy software to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and perform other necessary functions on the system following the company policies and state and federal regulations. 
• Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Establish and maintain patient and clinic profiles. 
• Know of and follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide prompt and considerate service to all customers. 
• Ensure that all requests/required data entry is accurate and completed promptly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician
• CPhT certification approved by the State Board of Pharmacy in Arizona
• Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
• Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Reliable with a keen eye for detail
• Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program
