National Services Group has an excellent opportunity for a paralegal to join our team and work alongside NSG’s top tier Legal Team. NSG is a 300 million revenue nationwide residential and commercial renovation contractor that operates through its many subsidiary brands including College Works Painting, Home Genius Exteriors, and EmpireWorks Reconstruction. We have been growing, promoting, and building tomorrow’s leaders for over 32 years and are looking for a paralegal to join our growing team.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparing affidavits, legal correspondence and other documents for attorneys.
• Assist with the filing of registrations, with governmental agencies, including ensuring business license and registration filings are current.
• Help update corporate entity documents, including statements of information, operating agreements, by laws etc.
• Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
• Litigation experience a plus including E-filing documents in state courts. Determining and maintaining calendar deadlines.
• Work with departments on special projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Finance, and Accounting.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience as a paralegal.
• Paralegal certification.
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate complex issues succinctly and clearly.
• An adaptable problem-solver who challenges the status quo, seeks to make things better and more efficient.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Impeccable integrity and good judgement.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality handling sensitive information.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working within a fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities.
• Comfort communicating with senior executives and/or Board members.
• Must be a self-starter, dependable, and take pride in work product.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
