Are you a skilled paralegal looking to make a difference in the field of employment law? Our esteemed law firm in Costa Mesa is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in an in-office position. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our employment lawyers in various tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents under the guidance of attorneys.
  • Handling incoming phone calls and correspondence related to cases.
  • Compiling exhibits, evidence, and other materials for court proceedings.
  • Conducting legal research and investigations to support case preparation.
  • Assisting attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing documents and preparing trial binders.
  • Managing case files and ensuring all documents are organized and up-to-date.
  • Providing administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the firm.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Previous experience working as a paralegal in a law firm setting, preferably in employment law.
  • Proficiency in legal research, writing, and drafting legal documents.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
