About Us:
Jafari Law Group is a Boutique Law firm that Focuses on Employment and Intellectual Property Law. We are expanding our litigation department and are looking for an experienced paralegal to join our firm.
Essential Job Duties:
- File court documents
- Management of ongoing assigned court and case deadlines
- Assist with reviewing case materials, mail, and other case related documents
- Prepare damage spreadsheets. (Excel is a plus! Let us know you have this experience!)
- Create, revise, and proofread documents with high accuracy
- Assist with mediation and trial preparation
- Keep accurate time records for billable tasks
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree and/or ABA approved paralegal certificate preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and to remain calm under pressure
- Strong desire to work in a team environment
- Read, write and communicate fluent English;
- High degree of self-directed initiative and individual judgment
- Attention to detail,
- Ability to balance multiple projects and strong time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint)
