Position Overview: Operate semi-automated material cutting and\or spreading equipment. Process all spreads though the cutting machine and offload all cut parts in a timely manner. Measure and cut fabric at a sufficient pace to keep the cutter working continuously. Lay fabrics according to the marker info and established spreading guidelines.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate semi-automated material cutting and spreading equipment
• Input production data into computer
• Input material data into computer
• Offload cut parts from conveyor
• Process markers following priorities set on your inbox
• Gathering material from inventory location or from material handler
• Measuring material and preparing table for cutting
• Operate lift to load rolls of material into equipment
• Follow all guidelines for equipment preventative maintenance
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Properly identify face vs. back of material, material flaws or defects and shading differences
• Work closely with other team members to ensure output goals are met

Non-Essential Job Functions:

• Other duties as assigned

Training: Necessary training will be provided on the job.

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience: 1 year in a manufacturing environment preferred

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for duration of day, walk frequently, and turn as needed

Working Conditions: Plant environment with constant background noise
