- Responsible for trash and waste removal in the factories (including services, recycle, and daily emptying of factory waste between 1st and 2nd shift)
- Responsible for dealing with ALL building subcontractors including but not limited to: Office Cleaning, Plumbing, HVAC, Roofers, Water, Fire and Security, etc…
- Responsible for recording the activity per Machine asset on NSA’s Asset Tracking Log in ls1, of vital building equipment such as: HVAC, Air Compressors, and Material Handling equipment. The recording of this activity is regardless of self work or subcontracted work.
- General factory cleanliness: organizing and disposing of pallets, totes, boxes
- Being conscious and an active participant with HQ Safety committee and helping with 5S implementation.
- Responsible for doing “extra” walkway shoveling and salting during winter months to ensure safety.
- Assisting on other project tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or VP of Manufacturing.
- Machine and equipment reorganization
- Hardware store “runs” while keeping a mileage log
- Other duties as assigned.
