The Opportunity

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Specialist to join our Business Operations team. Our Business Operations team manages business matters including the development and maintenance of our business and legal affairs processes and policies, contract management for clients and vendors, and the creation of legal documentation and agreements.

This role would provide support for our Business Operations team. Your Impact

Your role will be to provide support to the Legal and Business Administration teams from the Business Operations department. Your position will be involved with the corporate administration throughout the life cycle of our commercial projects. During this cycle, you will:

  • Create and record unique project numbers in Maconomy, our financial management software.
  • Distribute legal document templates to internal stakeholders to use when needed.
  • Draft and review legal agreements and licenses. You will interact with our legal counsel on creating revisions to agreements when applicable.
  • Manage and coordinate the company e-sign process via DocuSign.
  • Maintain the company's legal records in our contract management systems.
  • Utilize project management software such as Monday.com and Asana.

You will also be involved with additional projects, such as:

  • Managing a broad range of vendors and freelance contractors. This will involve assisting with the onboarding process, drafting vendor contracts, and frequently tracking budgetary spend.
  • Managing data privacy requests related to the California Consumer Privacy Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
  • Assisting with additional related projects as requested by the Vice President, Business Operations and other senior executives.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience – We’d love for you to have 1 years’ of relevant experience in business and/or legal operations.
  • Degree – BA/BS degree in a relevant field, including but not limited to Business, Business Analytics, Operations Management, Law and Communications. Graduate degrees are welcome!
  • Passion – You have an enthusiasm for business and legal operations. An interest in entertainment and technology industries is preferred as well.
  • Communication– To be successful in this role, you need to have strong written and verbal communication skills, as you will be required to frequently interact with clients, vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Tools– Excellent computer skills and experience using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook).
  • Expert multitasker – Successfully manages time and multiple competing priorities to ensure deadlines are always met. You have no problem with changing direction on priorities when needed.
  • Project management – Effectively able to manage projects to completion with minimal oversight. Staying organized is a must for managing projects!
  • Hawk-eyed attention to detail – No errors get past you and you do all that you can to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Self-starter – Internally-motivated who continuously strives to get things done well, regardless of challenges encountered.
  • Proactivity – You anticipate what needs to get done and take the initiative to complete those tasks.
  • Great Team Member – Team player who is able to work collaboratively and harmoniously within a team and across teams. You will roll up your sleeves to help get the job done and no task is beneath you. You welcome feedback because you have a zest for learning and growing.
  • Reliability – Must maintain confidentiality and be trusted with sensitive information.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Compensation

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $20-$24 per hour. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
