National Equipment and Service provides complete commercial dock and door installation, maintenance, and repair services, as well as servicing of warehouse equipment. A successful Service Coordinator will dispatch and coordinate a team of Field Service Technicians throughout the Southwest Region, including Orange County, LA County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, and beyond, in some cases. The Service Coordinator will also take ownership of parts, materials, and equipment, managing warehouse and truck inventories, as well as purchasing and logistics. Service Coordinators must be presentable and showcase excellent customer service skills, as you will be working at the center of the operation, serving as a liaison between the field, the office, and our vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Serve as primary POC for field technicians regarding all non-technical issues.
• Serve as a central communications hub between the field and the office.
• Create/modify job assignments and schedules for all Field Service Technicians in our field service software platform.
• Dispatch Field Service Technicians and oversee general logistics.
• Monitor and track accurate clock ins/outs and job status changes in software.
• Ensure Technicians perform all administrative responsibilities at the job site.
• Review service reports for discrepancies and inaccurate information.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and services.
• Perform check-ins with field employees.
• Review jobs (service reports) in real time throughout the day.
• Review work orders and complete or reschedule jobs.
• Ensure techs are using vendor platforms correctly.
• Schedule/cancel lifts and equipment rentals.
• Log disciplinary activities.
• Track return service reports.
• Coordinate with a field trainor on an in-house training schedule.
• Coordinate and facilitate communication between field and office.
• Identify any gaps on the dispatch board; communicate with sales to fill-in.

Qualifications:

• Experience coordinating field service technicians as a Dispatcher.
• Experience with Dispatch software, or equivalent FSM/CRM/ERP.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office or Mac equivalent.
• Knowledge of local geographical regions.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology driven, service environment.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be responsive and a proactive communicator.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
