National Computing Group is Hiring an Environmental Specialist Near Akron, OH

Description:

Hybrid, 3 days in office

Possible contract to hire.

Looking for all levels
Level I 0-2 years (25-34/hr)
Lever II 3-6 years (34 - 49/hr)
Level III 7 years (50-67/hr)

This position will work within the Environmental Permitting in support of operations. The position will be tasked with conducting and/or managing a range of environmental and engineering-related endeavors associated with construction of transmission lines, substations and renewable energy. Tasks will include but not be limited to: obtaining environmental permits (federal, state, local, etc.), leading environmental compliance, developing and negotiating mitigation strategies, threatened and endangered species consultation, erosion and sedimentation control plan development/review, stormwater management, avoidance and minimization measures, impact assessments, and regulatory/governmental agency coordination.

Employees with a high level of job knowledge and technical expertise. They are accomplished and are recognized as the expert or lead “go to” person. They lead by example, educate and direct others on technical subject matters, improve programs and process effectiveness, and make significant contributions to the achievement of goals and objectives. Demonstrates ownership by leading others in solving highly complex problems and situations. Utilizes best practices, techniques, and analytical skills.

Four year degree in a related discipline required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $67.00 per hour
