Job description :

• Configure and install network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Monitor network resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Must have skill sets
1. MPLS, Cisco ACI, CISCO ISE, SD-WAN technologies, Wireless
2. F5 load balancing, Infoblox, SolarWinds
3. 7 years of networking experience
4. Cloud-based connectivity (AWS, Azure)
5. RoIP, Multicast, Voice over WLAN, WiFi
6. Packet decoding technology
7. Experience with NERC CIP environments

Nice to have skill sets - Firewall exp, RoIP, Multicast

Soft skill requirements - Team player, good listener.

Education : Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Math or Business or technical equivalent.

Ideal background - utility exp would be nice, mainly for the compliance experience.

Location = Cayce, SC

Rate = $53-$66/hr

Length = 1 Year W2 Contract - Possible long term/extension for the right candidate
