Nassau Street Dental is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near New York, NY

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth operations
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- X-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient education
-- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and operating X-ray equipment
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and dental practice management software (Dentrix)
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent patient care
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from the dentist
