Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant with experience in oral surgeries and cosmetic restorations. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during oral surgeries and cosmetic restoration procedures
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials
- Ensure a sterile and organized surgical environment
- Take dental radiographs, intra-oral pictures and CAD/CAM digital impressions
- Provide postoperative care instructions to patients
- Record treatment information in patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Perform routine tasks such as cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and maintaining inventory
- Support front office staff with patient scheduling and record keeping as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental practice, with specific experience in oral surgeries and cosmetic restorations
- Proficiency in taking dental radiographs and familiarity with dental software
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures and tooth charting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
