Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant with experience in oral surgeries and cosmetic restorations. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during oral surgeries and cosmetic restoration procedures
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials
  • Ensure a sterile and organized surgical environment
  • Take dental radiographs, intra-oral pictures and CAD/CAM digital impressions
  • Provide postoperative care instructions to patients
  • Record treatment information in patient records
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
  • Perform routine tasks such as cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and maintaining inventory
  • Support front office staff with patient scheduling and record keeping as needed

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental practice, with specific experience in oral surgeries and cosmetic restorations
  • Proficiency in taking dental radiographs and familiarity with dental software
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures and tooth charting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in record-keeping
  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
