Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their dining experience
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and proper handling techniques
- Strong hospitality and customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members
Please note that this position requires standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift trays of food or beverages.
