Reports to: Helpline Supervisor
Shift: Multiple schedules available, all between 9 am - 8pm; Monday - Friday and Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
Office Location: 1801 W. Warner, Suite 202, Chicago IL; in-office and hybrid working options available (hybrid work policy subject to change)

Guided by the experiences of those living with mental health conditions and rooted in equity, NAMI Chicago educates to fight stigma and discrimination, fiercely advocates for our community, and shares hope, connection and expertise with people on their mental health journey.
Who We Are Looking For:
The NAMI Helpline provides information, resource referrals and support to people living with a mental health condition, their family members and caregivers, mental health providers and the public. The Bilingual Helpline Specialist supports NAMI Chicago’s mission and is a strong problem solver with the ability to think on their feet, is empathetic and approachable and has an understanding and experience with the mental health system and crisis intervention.
