Job Title : Field Marketing Coordinator

MyMuse is a dynamic and innovative functional beverage brand dedicated to delivering "Happy Hydration" through the launch of a better-for-you soda and enhanced water.

Positioned at the forefront of the industry, the functional soda category is currently the fastest-growing segment.

This is the latest brand from Lance Collins, the serial entrepreneur behind brands like Fuze and Nos Energy (acquired by Coca-Cola), Core Hydration (acquired by Keurig Dr.

Pepper), and Body Armor (acquired by Coca-Cola for $8 billion, the largest private transaction in industry history).

Job Summary

This position requires a creative and organized individual with a keen understanding of the beverage industry, a flair for engaging consumers, and the ability to drive brand awareness at the grassroots level.

In addition, this person must be an inspirational and hands-on leader that brings social media savviness to the table.

Key Responsibilities :

Field Activation :

  • Plan and execute field marketing initiatives, including event activations and community events, to create brand awareness and drive product trials.
  • Curate compelling content from events and partnerships for the social media team while planning and executing activities that drive trial and build brand awareness.
  • Coordinate and execute ambassador-led initiatives, events, and campaigns on college campuses.
  • Ensure set-up and execution of activities meet high standards, paying attention to every detail.
  • Review & assess local market event opportunities reflective of the MyMuse brand, delivering a clear, authentic message to the consumer.
  • Maintain an ongoing, in-depth knowledge of industry trends, timely events, cultural moments, brand upcoming launches / campaigns, and competitive activity

Product Sampling :

  • Develop and implement effective product sampling opportunities to showcase the unique features and benefits of MyMuse Enhanced Waters and Sodas.
  • Coordinate event activations and community events, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for consumers.
  • Maximize the impact of market sampling by ensuring that samplings are unexpected, unique, and mobile.

Brand Ambassador Management :

  • Train and help manage a team of enthusiastic brand ambassadors (when needed) to represent MyMuse at various events.
  • Manage a team of Collegiate Ambassadors to make MyMuse an integral part of a student’s campus life.
  • Inspire and motivate the brand ambassador team and collegiate ambassadors, fostering a positive and energetic work environment.
  • Execute frequent spot checks each month to monitor the effectiveness of the program.

Social Media Integration :

  • Collaborate with the social media team to capture organic content from field marketing activities that is engaging and captivating for online platforms.
  • Suggest new social media trends & / or concepts to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the social media landscape and contribute to the development of social media ideas.
  • Oversee and ensure all field marketing activities generate compelling and engaging content designed for optimal utilization across various social media platforms.
  • Train local team on capturing field content and coordinate submission to Director of Field Marketing.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, social, and product, to align content with overall business strategies.
  • Manage the field events calendar and share with the social team so any social content gathered would be reflected in their planned editorial calendar.

This communication is key to helping social team plan and organize content production, ensuring timely and consistent delivery.

Suggest and implement new trends and ideas to develop brand awareness, like giveaways and brand-owned trends

Collateral Distribution :

  • Distribute marketing collateral, promotional materials, and merchandise to increase brand visibility.
  • Maintain inventory of marketing materials and coordinate restocking as needed.

Data Collection and Analysis :

  • Collect and analyze consumer feedback, event metrics, and other relevant data to assess the success of field marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting key performance indicators and insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Recommended 2 years of management experience with direct oversight of a team.
  • Collegiate Education : Two-year degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for the beverage industry and MyMuse's mission of Happy Hydration.
  • Existing local market knowledge preferred.
  • Innately curious and passionate about social media.
  • Demonstrated high level of social media savviness.
  • Strong understanding of the local collegiate landscape.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / FUNCTIONS :

  • Travels 90-95% within the market territory
  • A reliable means of transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to maintain a pulse on the local market’s college activities and events
  • Exceptional communication skills, including presenting and training abilities.
  • Strong planning and project management competencies.
  • Ability to work extended hours on weekends.
  • Must be proficient with relevant computer software and communication tools.
  • Flexible : You understand that this is not a typical 9-5 job. Things can & will change.
  • Track & maintain product inventory, accept deliveries, and market oversight of resources.
  • Regular physical activity may be required, e.g., setting up infrastructure, comfortably lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Must live in Seattle
  • Willing and able to drive throughout Washington and Oregon when needed
  • Curate and personally work all events until Brand Ambassador team is built or established
