Description

Myers Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive BDC Manager to manage a department handling high-volume inbound customer requests for an exceedingly desired brand with an excellent reputation. We're looking for a person with excellent leadership skills and a passion for the sales process to lead our business development center. Our location is closed Sundays and includes the opportunity for advancement in an expanding automotive group.

Qualifications


Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the department.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Train and motivate BDC sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and customer preferences.
  • Conduct outbound sales activities to generate leads.
  • Distribute sales leads to sales team.
  • Attend all necessary/ required training whether online or in person.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and exhibit positive communication skills (verbal and written) and strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers.
  • Strong computer skills a must
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the General Manager.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • May require regular sitting, standing, squatting or kneeling.
  • Able to successfully operate I use phone for communicating.
  • Able to drive and operate vehicles in a safe manner.

Additional duties as required DFWP/EOE

Experience and requirements

  • Proven experience in outbound sales. Minimum three years automotive sales experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ management experience preferred.
  • Verifiable experience with a track record of successful and credible achievements
  • A resilient, and highly motivated attitude.
  • Ability to coordinate a team to handle incoming online and telephone requests, and successfully make appointments.
  • Able to analyze data and help develop more effective sales strategies.
  • Provide quality customer service while utilizing and training others on reactive/proactive sales techniques.
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as lead a high-energy and collaborative environment.
  • A resilient, and highly motivated attitude.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions and physical demands within a fast-paced work environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must submit to and pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, motor vehicle reports, drug screening and valid driver license check.
