My Pets Wellness is Hiring a Veterinary Practice Manager Near Knoxville, TN

My Pets Wellness has an immediate opening for a full-time Practice Manager to join our Knoxville team! We are searching for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented leader who excels in communication and enjoys developing meaningful relationships with veterinary personnel and clients to ensure a supportive and positive employee experience and delivery of elevated, high-touch client service.

Our ideal candidate will have management experience in the veterinary space and exceptional emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to thrive in a dynamic clinic environment. This position will work directly with our clinical teams and will report to the Director of Practice Management. Our Practice Manager will be responsible for driving hospital performance and managing P&Ls on a local level.

We have 3 locations in Knoxville that this position would oversee:

  • 10657 Hardin Valley Rd, Knoxville, TN 37932
  • 6475 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919
  • 6732 Malone Crk Dr, Knoxville, TN 37931

Location: This position will be based out of the local hospital location, with an opportunity to work from home 1 day per week (on call, if needed in hospital), with up to 10% travel to headquarters, meetings / strategy sessions, conferences, and regionally

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Experience Management: Develop and perfect the strategy for a seamless client experience across all platforms, using client surveys, focus groups, and feedback analysis to guide improvements.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Spearhead integrated marketing campaigns and community events that align with our core values and enhance brand visibility. Assist with and optimize our social media presence and ensure that our digital marketing efforts resonate with our client base.
  • Leadership and Training: Cultivate a skilled and motivated client experience team through targeted training programs, focusing on superior communication and service skills.
  • Client Retention and Growth: Oversee a robust client referral program and design retention strategies that personalize client interactions and foster long-term loyalty.
  • Financial and Operational Strategy: Build and manage budgets, track performance metrics like client acquisition costs and ROI, and adapt strategies to maximize operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in the veterinary space
  • 2 years of management experience
  • Strong leadership qualities to guide and motivate the team, with excellent interpersonal skills for managing relationships with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High organizational and multitasking skills to efficiently manage various practice operations.
  • Proactive in identifying issues and quickly developing effective solutions.
  • Able to adjust to new challenges and changes in the workplace, including technological upgrades and regulatory shifts.
  • Strong ethical standards and professionalism, with a deep sense of empathy, ensuring compliance and maintaining trust.
  • Capable of handling high-pressure situations with calmness and effectiveness.
  • Meticulous with data, financials, and management tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Skilled in handling sensitive financial and personal data securely and discreetly.
  • Familiar with veterinary practice management software, scheduling systems, and capable of basic IT troubleshooting.
  • Committed to ongoing professional development to stay updated with industry trends and enhance job performance.
