Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Renton, WA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports: Executive Director

Summary: Aristo Healthcare Services is seeking a talented and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Renton, Washington. This position will be based in a behavioral healthcare setting, where the HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of human resources management, including hiring, recruiting, and personnel management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field of Human Resources and personnel management.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Coordinate employee orientation and training programs to ensure new hires are integrated into the organization effectively.
  • Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Administer and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, benefits enrollment, and attendance records.
  • Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration, including employee inquiries and changes.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for employee performance management and development.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in HR management to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and EEOC guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software preferred.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
