Accounting Clerk

Job Description:

Mundo-Tech, Inc. is a fast-growing, award-winning manufacturer of fabricated tube assemblies for aerospace, defense, and commercial markets. The Accountant 1 will be a full-time position from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Friday and report to the Finance Manager.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of how to create budgets and analyze expenses. Candidate should be comfortable working with others throughout the organization and hold small presentations for management.

This position is located in Rogers, AR and does not offer relocation benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounts payable responsibilities, including entering invoices, coding to the General Ledger and scheduling check runs
• Manage all accounts receivable responsibilities, including invoicing and following up on past due accounts
• Analyze and prepare monthly budgets to present to management
• Track expenditures and identify focus areas for improvement
• Work closely with purchasing to create AP forecasts
• General bookkeeping responsibilities
• Assist with other accounting, human resource and finance duties as-needed
• Fill in for the Accounting Manager when needed
• Performing general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail.

Required Education and Experience:

• Minimum 1 year related work experience
• Preferred some college experience with a focus in accounting or finance.

Required Skills:

• Required understanding of budget forecasting and data analysis.
• Strong mathematics skills and problem-solving ability.
• Knows when to stop and ask for clarification.
• Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and strong administration skills are essential.
• Must have excellent numerical skills.
