Multiplex Machining Inc. is Hiring a CNC Programmer Near Houston, TX

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying CNC programs to produce precision parts. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Duties:
- Develop and modify CNC programs for machining operations
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize machining processes
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC programs or machine performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of programming changes and machine settings
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Strong mathematical skills, including knowledge of geometry and trigonometry
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Fanuc or G-code
- Experience with lathe operations and electrical discharge machining (EDM)
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Prior experience in CNC programming or machining is preferred
