Job Requirements: High school diploma/GED; college degree preferred. 5 years of experience of 2D programming on both lathe and mill. 5 years of experience working with 5 axis milling (Haas Machinery a plus) 5 years of machine background with rotating equipment and/or turbomachinery preferred. required-skills: Duties include: CNC Programmer will develop efficient CNC programs to machine precision parts. Write and optimize CNC programs for 3, 4 and 5 axis machining. Must fully understand G and M CNC programming codes. Continuously improve manufacturing process by ensuring product quality, reduced cycle times and lead times. Regulate machining factors of speed, feed, torque, and coolant flow. Create and compile all necessary documents to aid in programming. Experience in CNC machine setup and tool selection. Ability to program using Solid Models. Live tooling a plus. Utilizes Mastercam 2022 for regular parts and Max-Pac for wheel 5 axis programming Extensive use of calipers, micrometers, or any precision measuring instrument.
