CNC Programmer Houston TX

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer Houston TX to join our team at our Houston TX 77086 location. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating Okuma Machines and a strong understanding of CNC machining processes. The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes and delivering high-quality products to our clients.

CNC Programmer Houston TX job duties:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, specifically Okuma Machines, to perform machining tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and threading.
  • Load materials into machines, adjust machine settings, and monitor the production process to ensure optimal results.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to understand specifications, tolerances, and dimensions for each machining operation.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged tooling.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications, making necessary adjustments to the machine settings when needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions, and collaborate with maintenance personnel for more complex repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered during the machining process.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to optimize production processes and address any issues that arise.

CNC Programmer Houston TX Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC Okuma machining is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, with a focus on Okuma Machines.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming principles, tooling, and materials.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Must be familiar with G code programming.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on CNC machines.
  • Ability to reprogram machine.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Prioritizes safety and follows established safety protocols.
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
  • No felonies in the last 3 years, no violent felonies ever.

Location: Houston TX 77086

Pay: $25-$35 depending on experience

Shift: Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm
