Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced certified Tax Credit Property Manager to oversee the operations and management of our properties. The Property Manager will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and implementing efficient property management practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new tenants
- Conduct thorough tenant screenings and lease negotiations
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as Fair Housing regulations
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, including overseeing contractors and vendors
- Monitor property budgets and financial performance
- Prepare regular reports on property performance for management
- Utilize property management software (e.g., OneSite) to track leasing activities, maintenance requests, and financial records
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related transactions
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or related field
- Knowledge of contract administration and lease agreements
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program is preferred
- Proficiency in using property management software (e.g., OneSite)
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer relationship management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Experience in property maintenance and knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus
