Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, managing administrative tasks, and providing support to the team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
- Oversee office budget and expenses, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage general ledger accounting
- Assist with account reconciliation and double entry bookkeeping
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budget planning
- Provide support to the team by scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and organizing events
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Skills:
- Proficiency in Sage, Quicken, and other accounting software
- Strong knowledge of governmental accounting principles
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in 10-key typing for data entry purposes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Will process payroll, experienced with general ledgers and reconcilliation reports
