MST Insurance Solutions, Inc is Hiring a Marketing Executive, Bilingual Japanese/English Near Torrance, CA

Overview
Under the direction of the Senior Vice President, Marketing Executives are responsible for marketing, prospecting, selling and client relationships accounts involving the Company's portfolio of products (i.e. life, property, casualty, health, automotive, or other types of insurance.).

Essential Duties & Functions
Other duties may be assigned.
• Execution of our comprehensive sales process which includes successful prospecting, planning and gaining new business.
• Meet with prospective customers in person or virtually to obtain information about their current insurance package and their insurance needs for the future.
• Actively call/joint call on identified target segments, prospects, centers of influence, etc. to lead new business development and client acquisition efforts.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales, cross-sales and referral goals.
• Knowledge of full portfolio of MSTIS P&C and EB products and services; actively cross-sells full breadth and depth of products.
• Assist in new business upsell opportunities and developing retention strategies for existing clients by working collaboratively with Vice President, Account Executive teams as needed
• Works with EB, P&C and Corporate Marketing/Planning departments to regularly update sales status to achieve overall company and department target
• Works with EB, P&C and Corporate Marketing/Planning departments to strategize sales procedure, allocate appropriate resources to maximize sales effort.
• Conducts sales presentations utilizing Company sales materials.
• Assist collaboration with MST Japan for referral/lead activities.
• Relationship management of client.
• Proficient understanding of compliance & marketing (RFP), reporting & analytics, and able to perform and/or coordinate these functions with little guidance from the team lead.
• Strong knowledge of and relationships with vendors.
• Maintains confidentiality of Company and customer information; including pricing, growth projections, market share and other materials that can be used by the competition
• Works independently and uses own judgment on client issues; however, collaborates with colleagues in a team like environment, and exchanges information useful to ensuring sales success, such as selling strategies and techniques, market trends, and other pertinent information
• Identify, plan, and develop methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness of sales processes.
• Maintains and manage prospects data and log activities

Non-Essential Duties

• Follows up to complete any assigned work.
• Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace
• Reports all irregular issues and problems to the management for solution.
• Maintains good communication with office staff members and outside contacts.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area by participating in all aspects of
the Company's Safety Program.

Qualifications

Fluent Japanese/English (speak/read/write)

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five or more years of EB or P&C related experience and/or training.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make accurate decisions and demonstrate good judgement.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time/project management skills.
• Must obtain and maintain active Property and Casualty Insurance and/or Life and Health
Insurance Agent License.
• This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. If required, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.
• Maintain positive working relationships and clear communication with co-workers, clients, and insurance carriers.
• Must be available for offsite meetings with clients.
