DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provides technical assistance and advise to customer and channels leading directly to closed orders. Includes effectively using up-selling and other selling techniques to increase order value.
• Achieves 100% follow through and management of Application Optimization process, including updating SHIMS database as needed.
• Applies continuous improvement processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC’s mission.

Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE :

• High school diploma or the equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Multiple years experience in various areas of sales and technical experience in the industrial field required.

SKILLS :

• Extensive market, product, technical and industry knowledge required.
• Knowledge of customer base required.
• Excellent business negotiation skills required.
• Knowledge of applicable computer systems and assigned software required.
• Business statistical analysis and forecasting techniques required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS :

This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information ( ITAR ) and / or Controlled Unclassified Information ( CUI ).

Compensation starting at $38,423.00 - $ 60,379.00 depending on experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities.

Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change .
