Eighty Eight Brand is looking for a Graphic Designer in the LA area to join our team!
Eighty Eight is a brand focused on the fashion industry & we are looking for a creative, detail-oriented individual with a good sense of humor to design t-shirt graphics and help us come up with witty, clever ideas. Individual must have at least one year of experience in graphic design for both young men and juniors apparel, and also have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Art Director, generate designs that are visually appealing and on-brand.
- Communicate ideas and concepts in a way that captures the audience's attention.
- Think creatively and prepare rough drafts and present your ideas.
- Keep up with competitors and market trends.
- Manage and prioritize a workload of multiple projects from concept to completion. Ensure all product deadlines and brand standards are consistently met.
- Meet with other team members to establish a vision for future projects.
- Complete projects by coordinating with outside factories, printers, etc.
- Switch between multiple projects on any given day with the teams’ changing priorities.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in graphic design.
- Knowledge of screen printing process is a plus.
- Produce a work portfolio that demonstrates your creativity, attention to detail and design skills.
- Advanced experience with Photoshop & Illustrator.
- Strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team while managing multiple graphic design projects simultaneously.
- Excellent eye for color and typography.
- Handle rejection and criticism of designs in a team player manner.
- Have a good sence of humor & contribute to our already cool team :)
