MPAC - Monumental Post Acute Care is Hiring a Director of Nursing Near Philadelphia, PA
This position offers a substantial sign-on bonus. We are in search of a Director of Nursing (DON ) for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Director of Nursing (DON) must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks. Duties for the Director of Nursing include oversight of the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the nursing department.
The DON will primarily function as a leader of the clinical team and ensure that the organization’s mission, vision, and values are being fulfilled. The DON would also be accountable for the day-to-day management of the LTC facility to grow the organization in a future path.
The ideal (DON / DNS) Candidate will have a positive history of survey compliance and the desire to build, nurture, teach, train, and guide front-line caregivers. Staff excellence, clinical excellence, customer excellence, and business excellence are cornerstone qualities required in this position.
Other Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, and administration of day-to-day operations associated with direct patient care, nursing practice, and clinical education and development
- Communicate a shared vision for clinical excellence and ensure the realization of high-quality and cost-effective healthcare services that are consistent with evidence-based practices and policies, regulatory and other legal requirements.
- Foster a service-oriented culture focused on top-of-license practice, collaboration, employee engagement, quality, patient safety, service excellence, fiscal responsibility, and the overall patient/resident experience
Qualifications: Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 5 years of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

- Strong knowledge of updated DOH regulations
- Must have strong computer literacy and competency skills
- Possess effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to implement new policies, procedures, and programs related to acuity of residents
- Good survey history
