Job Description:Moxie Marketing is seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Content Creator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment, are passionate about social causes, and excel in creating engaging content for digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality photos and videos for social media content, focusing on storytelling and brand identity.
- Edit videos for various social media platforms, including but not limited to reels, YouTube shorts and Facebook Stories.
- Develop compelling and authentic captions that resonate with our audience and align with our brand values.
- Schedule and publish content using social media scheduling tools.
- Provide live event coverage, including capturing behind-the-scenes moments and conducting interviews when necessary.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm content ideas and strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in social media content creation, preferably for purpose-driven brands or nonprofit organizations.
- Proficiency in photography and videography, including knowledge of composition, lighting, and editing techniques.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging captions and storytelling narratives.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and their respective best practices.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Passion for social causes and a genuine desire to make a positive impact through your work.
