Contract Duration: 6 Months
Required Skills & Experience
5 years of Systems Quality Assurance experience and systems or application testing, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Skills & Experience
Expert background in system and integration testing.
Expert in documenting strategy/testing approach across multiple testing components, facilitation of meetings and/or testing sessions, defect tracking and retesting.
Expert experience in test coordination and how to read, write, and understand test cases as well as translating business requirements into test cases.
Expert experience with tools used to track test cases and defect management such as HP ALM and JIRA.
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and technical teams.
Fundamental understanding of how test automation is developed and utilized.
Previous experience working with 3rd party vendor systems.
Needs a person with skillset location not as important.
Any specific skills: Strong background in system and integration testing.
Understanding of test coordination and how to read, write, and understand test cases as well as translating business requirements into test cases.
Familiarity with tools used to track test cases and defect management such as HP ALM and JIRA.
An understanding of all phases of software development lifecycle (Agile and Waterfall)
UAT - testing but not main job.
What You Will Be Doing
Lead a variety of systems quality assurance testing initiatives on software systems.
Act as key participant in planning for systems quality assurance.
Automate test procedures, cases, and research new tools, technologies, and processes to improve quality assurance.
Lead testing, development, and project teams to provide training, resolve escalated issues, assess testing needs, and recommend changes.
Provide guidance to team. Lead implementation of complex projects and initiatives impacting one or more lines of business.
Work with leaders to define and establish processes, templates, and standards related to systems testing.
Interact with more experienced leaders to provide support and propel efforts for the business.
Recommend compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and implement key risk initiatives.
Responsible for defining the testing holistic strategy for testing 2 large SaaS platforms launching together in September of this year. The test strategy will include migration testing, integration testing, as well as load/performance testing.
