MotherRoot Integrated Wellness is Hiring a Medical Office Manager Near Ashland, OR

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the operations of our medical practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both medical assisting and office management, with the ability to seamlessly transition between clinical and administrative responsibilities. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure the efficient operation of the clinic.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of healthcare professionals in the clinic.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including taking vitals, conducting tests, and administering treatments.
  • Ensure that patient rooms and equipment are prepared and maintained according to established protocols.
  • Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Oversee the scheduling of appointments, and procedures to maximize clinic efficiency.
  • Manager must be familiar with completing prior authorizations for medications and procedures.
  • Manage patient registration, insurance verification, and billing processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records in compliance with regulations.
  • Candidate must be readily available to answer telephone calls 9AM-5PM Monday through Friday when in the office and outside of the office.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and implement strategies to improve the patient experience.

Technology Utilization:

  • Proficiently use electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant software to manage patient information and clinic operations.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and recommend upgrades or changes as needed.

Compliance and Legal:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) required.
  • Proven experience in both clinical and administrative roles within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and office software.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and regulations.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
