Mosquito Joe of South Central PA is Hiring an Outdoor Service Technician Near Lancaster, PA
Mosquito Joe of South Central PA provides mosquito control services to make outside fun again for our customers who reside in the south central PA area. We are seeking Outdoor Technicians. At Mosquito Joe, we provide outdoor mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers, controlling outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, ticks, fleas and stink bugs. Our technicians are trained mosquito control experts who travel to customer homes to apply barrier spray solutions that keep their yard mosquito-free for 3 weeks. We also provide services for special events to keep guests chatting and laughing instead of scratching and slapping.
The outdoor Technician is a part or full time seasonal position during the active mosquito season from March - November. We are based in Lancaster, PA but service the South Central PA area. In addition to applying barrier treatments, technicians are knowledgeable of all Mosquito Joe services and policies and fully communicate to customers the expectations, procedures and tips applicable to the service being provided.
Requirements:
- Enjoys providing outdoor services
- Good Customer Service skills
- Professional & Friendly
- Reliable and Detail Oriented
- able to work independently and with a team mate
- Comfortable driving to customer locations
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Weekend hours available
Duties:
- Visually inspects customer property and treat for mosquitoes, ticks, fleas with back pack sprayer
- Maintain high customer service standards and good customer relations
- Explains service process to the customer
- Take personal initiative and responsibility for correcting any problems
- Maintain treatment records according to State requirements
- Participate in team meetings
- Complete licensing requirements and continued education requirements
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
- Able to walk customer property while caring equipment weighing about 60lbs in summer months
Benefits:
- Hourly rate plus Weekly Production and Performance Bonus
- Sign on bonus $500
- Bonus incentive for customer referrals- unlimited AND technician employment referral bonus up to $1000.

- Working hours are 7am -3:30 pm weekdays; occasional Saturdays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Salary: $13.00 to $17.00 /hourly PLUS Daily performance bonuses
