MORRISON MAHONEY LLP is Hiring a Part-Time Paralegal(s) - 014 Near Boston, MA
Morrison Mahoney LLP is seeking one (possibly two) part-time Paralegal(s) to join our busy Boston office. The ideal candidate(s) will be hard-working and motivated to take initiative and display great communication and time management skills. This role entails assisting 15 attorneys with a plethora of different tasks during all stages of litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting attorneys in preparing legal documents such as subpoenas, briefs, and pleadings.
- Filing and organizing legal documents using document management systems.
- Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information for cases.
- Preparing and maintaining case files, including indexing and organizing documents.
- Performing clerical tasks, such as data entry, copying, scanning, and faxing.
- Proofreading legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Scheduling appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneys.
- Transcribing dictation and preparing correspondence.
- Providing administrative support to attorneys, as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent proofreading and editing abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
This is an excellent opportunity for a college student who has an interest in the legal field or for a current law school student.
Rate: $17 - $20 Per Hour (commensurate with experience).
